This is a collection of Go tools (libraries/binaries) I came across that made me go "what a nifty thing to have!" and left me in appreciation of the Go team.
govulncheck
- reports known vulnerabilities against packages being used
- only includes the ones directly reachable from your code
- suggests the version to bump to for the fix
- mandatory: make sure you have enough testing (unit/integration) to ensure your contracts or serde doesn't break unexpectedly
fieldalignment
- reorders struct fields for better packing in memory

deadcode
- find unreachable functions in code
- this code is either way stripped away by the linker during compilation, but it does provide a less bloated codebase for you & your agent to deal with
